This neighborhood offers a mix of well-known spots such as the RAI event center and the green Weesperzijde, where there are plenty of recreational opportunities around the river. The Berlage Bridge on the east side of the Amstel easily connects you to the Amstel Station and Amsterdam-Oost. Under this bridge are several water sports clubs where you can rent a SUP to discover the city from the water.

Along the western side of the Amstel you will find cozy catering establishments on your way to the city center. The south side of the Amstel is bordered by the A10 and the beautiful Beatrixpark, which makes for a peaceful, natural environment.
